Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Lotus Mahjong Solitaire ("the game") collects, why, and the choices you have. The game is made by TECHIEBUTLER TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "us"), 1122-23 Shivalik Shilp, Iscon Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015, India. Contact: kashiramshekhda2010@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
Your progress, boosters and settings are saved on your device so the game can carry on where you left off.
Cloud backup and sign-in
To back up your progress, the game creates a random player number with Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies) and stores a copy of your game progress there. It holds no name and no contact details. On iPhone, you can link that backup to Sign in with Apple in Settings > Back up your progress, so a new iPhone finds it; we receive only an account identifier from Apple, never your password, and the game asks Apple for no name and no email. On Android, you can link the backup to Sign in with Google in the same place. Google then gives the game a sign-in token that carries your Google account's identifier, name and email address; the game sends it only to Unity Gaming Services to check the sign-in, which links the account's identifier to your backup's player number. The game itself keeps neither your name nor your email. Unity Gaming Services also sends the game remote settings, such as how often ads may appear.
Advertising
The game is free and shows ads on iPhone and Android: optional videos you choose to watch for a reward, and, after the first ten levels, occasional full-screen ads between levels. The ads come from Google AdMob. To choose, show and measure ads, Google collects information from your device, such as its advertising identifier (on iPhone only if you allow tracking), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device model, operating system, language and how you respond to the ads.
Where the law asks for your consent first (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google's User Messaging Platform shows a consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your answer at any time in Settings > Privacy choices. How Google uses this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Buying No Ads removes the ads between levels. Optional reward videos stay available.
Analytics and crash reports
On iPhone and Android the game uses Google Firebase (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) to receive short gameplay events, such as levels started and finished, the score and which booster was used, and crash reports, so we can fix problems and improve the game. With them Firebase receives the device model, its operating system and a random number for this copy of the game. Nothing is sent before Google's consent check has run, and where the law asks for your consent first, nothing is sent unless you agree. These events never carry your name or contact details, and we do not use them to identify you. Firebase's use of data is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchases
Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play. We receive a confirmation of the purchase so we can deliver it, never your card or payment details.
Your choices
- Change your consent at any time in Settings > Privacy choices (shown where your region asks for consent).
- On iPhone, allow or stop tracking in the iPhone's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in the phone's Settings.
- Delete your cloud backup and account: in Settings > Back up your progress > Delete my account (on an Android phone without Google Play services, Settings > Delete my data). Or email us at kashiramshekhda2010@gmail.com and we delete it within 30 days.
- Ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it by email.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and never asks for a name, age, address or photo. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Keeping and protecting data
Cloud backups are kept until you delete them. Data is sent over encrypted connections. Our service providers (Unity Technologies and Google) may process data outside your country under their own safeguards.
Changes
We will update this page when the game changes what it collects, and change the date at the top.
